Fern Fronds and Grasses: Exploring my garden jungle, Alnwick, Northumberland 06/06/15

Haven't cut the grass in quite a while, the weather has been a bit sporadic, and the mower doesn't cope too well with wet grass, as a result its knee high at the moment.  A veritable jungle.  The buttercups are in bloom, and the dandelions have flowered and some have seeded and blown the joint.  The grasses also are in flower.  The wind has been wild today, and this shows in some of the photos, but thought I'd snap a few shots of the "lawn" and some of its floral inhabitants, before I cut the area I will not be developing into my Wild Side!
