Swallows, Starlings and "Rocky!" 16/06/15
Woke this morning by a cafuffel out the back, and was confronted by no less than 17 starlings feeding in the garden.
Amid the furore was one brave soul, fighting their corner and standing firm for their share of the Suet Cake. Initially I thought it was one of the starlings or perhaps a fledgling. Now I'm not so sure... Hoping that someone can help in identifying. If so please leave a comment. At the moment he/she's simply Rocky.

I popped down the Aln Valley Railway, main site this afternoon. While my dad and one of his colleagues were working on the 1930's Power Scythe we had a visit from one of the Swallows, currently nesting in the Locomotive Shed.
